RECRUITMENT STATUS / INFO / APPLICATION EXAMPLE

We want to make something clear to the potential applicants. We aren't looking for someone who is just as good as the majority of our current raiders. We already have potential "stand-in"-s in case we need to fill up a specific raidrole and they hit the other's standard.

We're looking for someone who will be better than the majority of our players, with application credentials that make that fact very evident. That means some or all of the following:

• Top-100 pre-nerf M'uru/Kil'Jaeden kills
• Gladiator-level PvP experience
• Main tank experience and/or raid-leading experience in one or more competitive progression-oriented guilds
• Outstanding DPS on a consistent basis, with whatever the top spec/gear/glyph setup at the time has been. WWS, WoL or ingame Screenshot is enough to prove it.
• Low overhealing on fights(class dependent), using multiple abilities and not just spamming 1 type of heal (Holy Light/Chain Heal etc) during bossfights
• Talk on ventrilo! If You don't you won't get in. Ever.
• You know your class well enough and if there's a specific encounter where you know your class can come with a gimmick spec/set of gear, you can tell us and give reasons why we should do it
• You want to use forums. Not just reading it every month, but actively participate in brainstorming tactics and discussing fights outside of the raid and not always relying on an officer who'll tell you what to do at each pull

If you have achieved any of the above on an alt, don't be afraid to link your alt's armory otherwise we'll think you just lied about it.
Also, put effort into your application and write it in proper english. Stay away from chat abbrevations (lol, rofl...) and always make an effort to create a coherent text where it's possible. If you are dyslexic, please mention it in the start of your post.

Full ICC 10 & 25 experience is a must and any experience on hardmodes is a significant plus

Character spec: Standart 54/17/0 Divine Sacrifice Holy spec. Optimal spec for hardmodes. Most of the talents in this spec are obvious and are mandatory for any paladin healing spec. Those which are to some degree optional are these:

Aura Mastery - Perfect ability for hardmodes. There are many fights where you encounter huge amounts of magical aoe damage. Vezax, Twin Valkyrs, Freya etc. With the correct resistance aura this helps the raid to survive. And for example on Freya hardmode its perfect to give the raid heads up in the mushroom phase.
Improved Lay on Hands - reduces the cooldown on LoH, so they are usable basically every boss attempt and gives small kind of shieldwall to the tank, so it can be used preemptively.
Improved BoW - as i am often the only holy paladin and i am buffing BoW, this is quite obvious choice.
Blessed Life 2/3 - pretty much leftover points. Could be used in Improved Devotion aura instead but since we have many active resto druids in the guild, there is basically always tree of life buff. Ofc if that would change i could respec easily.
Improved Righteous Fury - Useful -6% damage reduction in any fight where you dont have to worry about pulling agro with healing. And its needed to get lower in the tree.

Pleaiades - my first raiding guild on realm Xavius. Raided MC and ZG with them. Guild disbanded and was reformed/merged with another guild.
Just Quit - i raided all vanilla raid instances in this guild. Quite early i became an officer. Guild was disbanded before TBC was realeased.
Clarity - We created this guild with our friends from former Just Quit, but we also took many new people. I raided the whole TBC content here. For first month or so i was a normal member, later i was promoted to an officer and before Sunwell was released i became the Guildmaster.

What interested Bhall in this guild: I want to be a valuable member of good progressing raiding team. See all new content before it receives nerfs. Have fun with other members inside and outside raids. Socialize outside raids.
What Bhall can bring to this guild: I can bring complete raiding experience. Experience as raidleader and guildmaster for almost 3 years. Interesting ideas for boss tactics. Extensive knowledge of almost all classes in the game. Good and experienced healer. Healer who healed as every healing class ingame. Friendly person, who likes to socialize on ventrilo.
What you expect from Clarity: Stable and friendly environment. People who know how to play and dont expect anything less from me. People on which i can rely in raids and they can rely on me.
Can raid 5 days every week: I can raid every day at least from 18:30 - 24:00. Most of the days i can start raiding earlier and also end later. I can raid during the weekends if needed for 10 mans for example.

I can adjust my university class schedule so it doesn't interfere with my raiding.
Why do you play WoW: Because i like to talk with people, i love to play with others. I don't like to play alone.
I see the game as a challenge. I want to be as good as possible.
I want to see all parts of the game. I love raiding and thats what i mainly focus on.
Can you Farm/obtain enough gold: Yes of course. I have sufficient amount of gold. I always come prepared for raids with all required consumables.
Applied to other guilds: No.
Ventrilo communication: Yes. I take ventrilo and talking on ventrilo as part of my game experience. I couldn't imagine raiding or playing in general without it.

Here is an example of an application i made in about 1 hour. This is how application should like. Beware grammatical mistakes (if you occasionally make a small typo is alright of course, we don't expect anyone to master English in every small detail). Spare us abbreviations like lol, ofc etc. Application is a formal document. Its not a chat with your friend. If you don't take this seriously you wont have a chance. Spare us smileys.
